We weren’t really sure we would get to see the sun this May for family photo sessions because there was so much rain! But thankfully, we didn’t have to move many shoots from their scheduled day… we just had to work some magic on the timing to catch a dry moment. We try not to reschedule a shoot unless it’s pouring down rain during your scheduled session time.
With Missouri’s weather, you never really know what you’re going to get. If you’re patient, flexible and lucky – you might just end up with a beautiful sky full of color! Or in our case, for these Mizzou Campus Family Photos, we had the entire quad around the Mizzou Columns to ourselves for the Drinkwitz family session.
We chose the University of Missouri campus for this shoot because we wanted a location where Eli and Lindsey’s four girls could have fun without having to worry about getting their cute outfits muddy and obviously this family loves the Tigers! There were so many adorable moments between these sisters and their parents that it was really hard to narrow them down. From tickling daddy near the Missouri School of Journalism, to one of the cutest smiles you’ve ever seen on their youngest daughter’s face while her older sisters gave her a big squeeze, to the beautiful scenery surrounding the columns… this family session was just perfect.
